His passion for the ocean, has given him the opportunity to enjoy this sport and make a career out of it. In 2010, he decided to travel to California to start his career as a Pro Athlete in the Stand Up Paddle World. He is currently training and competing as one of the best All-around SUP Surfers and Elite Racers in the World.
Beaux Foy is the founder, and front man, for the internationally touring, independent rock band Airiel Down best known for its extreme work ethic, high-energy performances and relentless humanitarianism. The band is based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Having toured 24 countries in the past few years, the band prides themselves on their hard work, relentless attitude, and high energy live show. Many critics, such as Benjamin Ray, claim “Airiel Down is one of the hardest-working indie bands in the country”. Airiel Down's single "Air" was the official theme song of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.
Beaux is a Fully Certified, Trainer Accredited snowboard coach spending his winters in Vail, Colorado training instructors and working with US Snowboard athletes.
Beaux speaks regularly to high school and college students, motivating and encouraging them to follow dreams and make their living in the creative arts.
Beaux is the first recipient of the USO of North Carolina's Heart of a Patriot Award. Nationally, Heart of Patriot Awards have been awarded to celebrities who support the Troops such as Gary Sinise of CSI and Forrest Gump fame and actress Karrie Turner of JAG.
